Some visitors to my website might understandably assume that as a content provider, that I am also an expert when it comes to website development.
Well, here is a confession, although I have somehow managed to cobble together this website without any external support and having absolutely zero experience, I have only managed to get to this point by relying on support from the real experts on YouTube and spending many hours on the hosting site’s Chat Forum. It has admittedly been a long, lonely, and frustrating experience!
There have however been some very satisfying Eureka moments and one such moment occurred just 20 minutes ago which has prompted me to write this down. Up until now, whenever I made a change to my WordPress website using Elementor, I could not find a way of toggling between different pages without, saving, closing everything down and re-logging in again. I had tentatively tried to find a way to do this, but foolishly kept plodding on with the only method I knew.
This morning however, I committed myself to finding a solution to this problem. It took a bit of time to get there as most of the explanations were long-winded. However, after some perseverance, I found the golden bullet that I had been looking for and to my utter delight is a simple, ctrl E, and hey presto. You can toggle between pages making the whole editing process much more fun!
This made me think that there must be many occasions in our lives when we do things because its how we always did it, or that the idea of looking for a different method might seem like too much hard work. So, what can I change next using the same approach?
Suggestions on a postcard please, or maybe email might be easier!
